What is my Immersion List, and how do I add things to it?

Your Immersion List is everything you've saved to watch, listen to and read in your language. It lives on the Library page, on the green IMMERSION LIST card. Save things with the + on any pick, or add your own link with Add Content.

The Immersion List is part of Pro, like the Library page it lives on. See What can I do without Pro?.

How do I open it?

  1. Tap Library in the menu (the bottom bar on a phone, the side menu on desktop).

  2. Under the search bar there's a big red IMMERSION LIBRARY card. Swipe it to the left, or tap the second dot under it. The green IMMERSION LIST card slides in: "My personal Korean immersion." (with your language).

  3. Tap All to open your list. Or tap Watch, Listen or Read to see only those. Tap the same one again to fold the list away.

On a phone, only the one you picked shows its name. The others are just icons: the play button is Watch, the headphones are Listen, the book is Read.

Nothing saved yet? It says "Your playlist is empty". Keep reading.

How do I add things to it?

Anywhere you see a + next to something, that's "Add to Immersion List". It turns into a green check once it's saved. Tap the check to take it back out.

  • On the Library page: the + on a For You card, on a pick, or in a pick's details. See How does the Library page work?.
  • A whole platform: pick a platform on the Library page and tap the + next to Watch Now. Platforms don't show up as cards. They go in Your Curated Platforms at the bottom of your list.
  • In Discover: Add to Immersion List in a video's menu, the bookmark in the scroll feed, or the + on a creator. See What is Discover?.
  • On your blueprint: the + on a pick in the Immersion Library.
  • When you personalize For You: the picks it shows you. See How do I personalize my For You row?.
  • When you come back from something you opened: "Welcome back! Did you immerse in …?" asks "Do you want to add this to your list?" Tap Yes. (You only get this question with Pro.)
  • Your own link: tap Add Content on the green card, then Custom Content. See How do I add my own link to my Immersion List?.

New things start as Immerse Later.

What do Active, Later and Done mean?

Once your list is open, the row on top says VIEWING STATUS: with how many items you're looking at, and four buttons:

ButtonShowsThe tag on the card says
AllEverything
ActiveThings you're in the middle ofin progress
LaterThings you haven't startedimmerse later
DoneThings you've finishedcompleted

The list always puts what you're in the middle of first, then what's for later, then what's done.

What's on each card?

  • The tag in the top left: immerse later, in progress or completed.

  • The ⋮ button in the top right (more below).

  • The type and platform, like "watch · YouTube", and how long it is when I know.

  • The title.

  • The big button. It changes with the status, so it always says what's next:

    • GET IMMERSED (green) when it's for later.
    • CONTINUE (green) when it's in progress.
    • REVIEW (grey) when it's done.

Tap it and a YouTube video, playlist or channel plays right inside Aim, and your session starts, just like on the Library page. Anything else opens in a new tab. When you come back, I ask "Welcome back! Did you immerse in …?" so you can log it.

Tap anywhere else on the card to open its details. See What's in an item's detail view?.

What's in the ⋮ menu?

Tap ⋮ on a card:

  • Immerse Later, In Progress or Completed sets its status. The one it has now is in bold.
  • Edit Details lets you change the title and the picture.
  • Remove takes it off your list.

Opening something doesn't change its status. You set it.

How do I switch between the row and the list?

The two round buttons on the right of the Watch / Listen / Read row switch the view:

  • The four squares: a row of cards you swipe through. On desktop, use the arrows on the sides.
  • The lines: a list. On a phone it's one card per line with the picture on the left. On desktop it's two across.

When you scroll down a long list, the bar with All / Watch / Listen / Read sticks to the top of the screen, so you can switch without scrolling back up.

What is "Your Curated Platforms"?

At the bottom of your list there's a row of logos called Your Curated Platforms. I build it from the things you're looking at right now: everything from YouTube gives you a YouTube logo, everything from Netflix a Netflix logo, and so on. Platforms you saved with the + next to Watch Now show up here too. Tap a logo to open that site.

How do I remove something?

Tap ⋮ then Remove, or the bin in its details. A message pops up: "… was removed. It's in Recently deleted for 30 days." Tap Undo to put it straight back, or Recently deleted to see what you've removed. See How do I bring back something I deleted?.

Good to know

  • It's Pro. Tapping + on the free plan opens the upgrade screen instead.
  • One list per language. You see what you saved for the language you're on. Switch languages and you get that language's list.
  • It's on every device. Your list is saved to your account, so it's the same on your phone and your computer.
  • The two big cards swap by themselves for a few seconds when you open the Library page. Touch them and they stop.
  • Browse Library in the Add Content box slides you back to the Immersion Library card, right next to your list, so you can pick something there.
