What's in an item's detail view?

Tap any card on your Immersion List and its details open: when you added it, when you last watched it, every time you logged it with your notes, and buttons to open it, set its status, edit it or remove it.

The Immersion List is part of Pro. See What is my Immersion List? for how to open it.

Steps

  1. Open your Immersion List (Library, then the green IMMERSION LIST card, then All).

  2. Tap a card anywhere except its big button. The details open over the page.

  3. Scroll down to see everything. Tap the X in the top right, or tap outside, to close it.

What's in there?

The top. The picture, little tags (watch, listen or read, its status, and things like the level or "Free"), the title and the platform.

The arrows next to the title ("2 / 7") flip to the next or previous item without closing. They follow the filter you're on, so if you're looking at Active, you flip through what's active. On a phone you can also swipe left or right.

Activity Stats.

  • Added to List: the day you saved it.
  • Last Viewed: the last day you logged it. "Never" if you haven't yet.

Recent History. Every time you logged this one, newest first: the date, how many minutes, and the note you wrote, in quotes. It's a running record of you and this show, podcast or book. "Ah, I watched this two months ago. Look how far I've come." It only shows up once you've logged it at least once.

Description. What it is. For a library pick that's my description. For your own link, it's the notes you wrote when you added it.

Ade's Story ("Why I recommend this") and Immersion Strategy ("How to use this"). Only on some of my picks. Tap one to open it.

The buttons at the bottom

The big button opens it. A YouTube video, playlist or channel plays right inside Aim and your session starts. Anything else opens in a new tab. The button changes with the status:

StatusButton
Immerse LaterGET IMMERSED (green)
In ProgressCONTINUE (green)
CompletedREVIEW (grey)

When you come back to Aim from a new tab, I ask "Welcome back! Did you immerse in …?" Tap Yes, I did! and log how it went, or Not yet. Once it's logged, it's in Recent History the next time you open the item.

The status row under it: Later, Progress and Done. The one it has now is highlighted. On a phone the words are hidden, so look for the icons: the clock is Later, the play button is Progress, the check is Done.

The pencil opens Edit Item (see below).

The bin removes it from your list. A message says "… was removed. It's in Recently deleted for 30 days." Tap Undo if you didn't mean it. See How do I bring back something I deleted?.

How do I edit an item?

  1. Tap the pencil (or ⋮ then Edit Details on the card).
  2. Edit Item opens, with a Live Preview of the card at the top.
  3. Change the Title.
  4. Want a different picture? Tap Upload Custom Image and pick one. Remove goes back to the default picture.
  5. Tap Save Changes.

The Link (URL), Content Type & Platform Type and Notes have a little lock on library picks. Those stay the way I set them up, so the link always works. Links you added yourself have no lock: you can change all of it, and tick Share this item with the Immersed community from here too.

Good to know

  • Last Viewed comes from your logs. If you open something and never log it, Last Viewed can still say "Never".
  • History matches by link and by title. A log with the same link, or the same title, counts as this item.
  • Opening it doesn't change the status. Set Later, Progress or Done yourself.
  • YouTube plays inside Aim from here too, the same as on the Library page.
