What are Sprints, and how do I start one?

A Sprint is a monthly challenge: one Immersion Mission and Daily Quests for the month. You finish by doing the Mission and 20 quests before the month ends. Finish and you earn the month's Immersion Medallion, plus the month's outfit for Aim with Pro.
Sprints are part of Pro. Free accounts can't open them yet.
Where are they?
- Desktop: tap Sprints in the sidebar, under Timeline and Inbox.
- Phone: Sprints is in the bar at the bottom. Moved it with Customize Bar? Tap ⋯ and it's in the list.
While you're in a Sprint, a chip in the top bar shows how it's going, and its quests show in your inbox too.
How do I join?
- Open Sprints. The first time you open it in a month, I show you what the month asks and gives.
- Tap Accept Sprint. That's the only thing that starts it. You have to choose to accept the challenge.
- Not for you this month? Tap Not this month. You can still join any time before the month ends.
Everything you've logged since the 1st counts, even from before you accepted.
What's on the Sprints page?
- The Immersion Mission. The month's big goal, in a few steps. Tap its name to see how it works and why. PLAY starts a session on the step's item.
- Daily Quests. Three small quests, like "Log 10 minutes". They reset every day at midnight.
- Your progress. How many of the month's 20 quests you've done, and how many days are left.
In a month with no Sprint, the page says "Immersion Sprints Coming Soon".
How does it count?
Everything comes from the sessions you log: how many minutes, and which of the nine activities. You don't tick anything off by hand.
- Finish = the Mission + 20 quests. Each daily quest you finish counts once toward the 20, and so does the Mission. You need the Mission done to finish.
- Streaks play no part. Miss a day and you just pick up the next one.
What do I get for finishing?
- The month's Immersion Medallion. It goes on your shelf under Your medallions, and it stays there.
- The month's outfit for Aim. It comes with Pro. When you claim the medallion, he's yours, and you can put him on right there.
- Not yours yet? If the outfit doesn't come with your plan when you claim, it's saved for you. He's yours whenever you go Pro, with nothing to redo and no deadline. A note in the bell says when he's yours.
- Earned is earned. An outfit you got from a Sprint stays yours, even if Pro ends later.
Are there community challenges?
No, not yet. There are no community, weekly or friends challenges in Immersed right now. If you read about them somewhere, that was an older plan.
Good to know
- Pro. Sprints are in the dashboard, which is part of Pro. See What can I do without Pro?.
- One at a time. Each Sprint runs for its month, from the 1st to the last day.
- Blueprint sprints are different. The Action Sprints on your blueprint are free checklists for your first month that you tick off right there. Their tasks also show in your inbox under Active sprints. See What's on my blueprint? and How do I use the inbox?.
- Sprints don't add time to your timeline. Track the immersion you do for a Sprint the usual way, with a session. See How do I start a session?.
- Not in the extension. Sprints live in the web app. Immersed for Chrome doesn't show them.
- Where did the Roadmap go? I took it out of the app on October 13. See What happened to the Roadmap?.
