Why are some of my items stacked together?

You did the same thing a few times back to back, so I stacked them into one block to keep your day tidy. Nothing's lost. Tap the number to fan them out.
What a stack looks like

- One pill covering the whole stretch, with a little depth behind it, like cards in a pile.
- The time line runs from the first start to the last end, with the total: "9:00 AM - 10:15 AM (1h 0m total)". The total is the time you actually logged, not the gaps in between.
- A number beside the title (and at the bottom of the pill) says how many entries are inside.
When do things stack?
All of these have to be true:
- They're done. Only things you've logged stack. Planned tasks never do.
- Same title and same activity. "Talk To Me In Korean podcast" as Active Listening twice stacks. A different episode name, or a different activity, doesn't.
- Back to back. The next one starts within 30 minutes of the last one ending.
- Same part of the day. A stack never crosses Wake up or Wind down, and a session that runs past midnight doesn't join one.
How do I see what's inside?
-
Tap the number beside the title. The stack fans out into its entries, marked 1/2, 2/2 and so on.

-
Tap the number on the first entry to fold them back up.
A fanned-out stack folds back up when you switch days or leave the timeline.
How do I change or delete a stack?
Tap the stack itself (not the number). A panel opens with the total time and the title.

- The number under the time lists every entry, with its start time and length. Tap one to edit it alone.
- The activity and # Add tags change every entry at once. Tap DONE to save.
- On your timeline switches between One block and Separate blocks.
- Delete N entries removes all of them. I ask first, because it can't be undone.
Good to know
- Stacks are just how your day is drawn. Your logs are still separate, so Growth and your reports count every one.
- Want them apart for good? Give them different titles, or let a gap of more than 30 minutes sit between them.
- A stack can't go in the bin by dragging. Open it and use Delete N entries, or fan it out and handle one entry at a time.
